NextShift Careers was built by someone who has spent years hiring, interviewing, and leading teams in hospitality operations across Canada. After reviewing thousands of resumes over the years, one thing became clear: too many qualified candidates get overlooked because their resume does not reflect their real experience or potential.

Our Story
I have spent my career working in hospitality, food service, and operations leadership. Throughout that time, I have reviewed resumes for restaurant staff, hotel employees, supervisors, managers, catering teams, food service workers, and many other hospitality roles.
I have seen firsthand how hiring managers review resumes. Most resumes only get a few seconds of attention before someone decides whether to move forward or move on.
