By using this website and our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Services

NextShift Careers provides resume editing, resume writing, and career-related services.

All services are delivered remotely by email unless otherwise stated.

We do not guarantee employment or interview outcomes.

2. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Submit truthful work history and credentials

  • Review drafts promptly

  • Respond to requests for clarification

Delays in communication may affect turnaround times.

3. Payments

  • Payment is required before work begins

  • Prices are listed in Canadian dollars

  • All payments are processed securely

  • Work will not begin until payment is received

4. Refund Policy

Due to the customized nature of our services:

  • Refunds are not provided after work has begun

  • Partial refunds may be considered before drafting begins

  • Completed services are non-refundable

If you have concerns, contact us promptly.

5. Revisions

Each package includes a specified number of revisions.

Additional revisions may be purchased separately.

Revision requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery unless otherwise agreed.

6. Turnaround Times

Turnaround times are estimates and begin after:

  • Completed intake form

  • Full payment

  • Required documents received

Delays caused by missing information are not included in turnaround timelines.

7. Intellectual Property

Once payment is complete, you own the final resume and documents created for you.

We may retain anonymized samples for internal quality improvement.

8. Limitation of Liability

NextShift Careers is not responsible for:

  • Hiring decisions

  • Employer actions

  • Job market conditions

  • Employment outcomes

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services.

9. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service in cases of:

  • Abusive behaviour

  • Fraudulent information

  • Non-payment

  • Policy violations

Any outstanding balances remain payable.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario.
